A women's fly fishing movement
River Vixens exists to help women reconnect with confidence, peace, and themselves through time spent on the water. No gatekeeping. No proving. Just an open invitation to begin.
The Movement
A club is about who's in. A movement is about what you already feel — and being welcomed into it. River Vixens is for the woman who's curious about the water but has been made to feel it isn't hers.
We believe the outdoors can heal, ground, and strengthen women at any stage of life — beginners, returners, and anyone finding their way back to themselves. You don't join by paying dues. You join by showing up — tangled line and all. Welcome to the club. Sorry: the movement.
The Hats
The hat that started it all. Structured front panel, mesh back, snapback fit. The River Vixens logo patch — a woman casting, mountains behind her, river at her feet.
Put it on before you know what you're doing. That's the point.

What We Believe
We welcome beginners and women learning later in life. There's no wrong time to start.
Confidence is built by doing, not by being perfect. You learn it on the water.
The water is peace, grounding, healing, and freedom — long before it's a catch.
Real experiences over polished perfection. We'd rather be honest than impressive.
Strength doesn't need to be loud or performative to be real.
The outdoors belongs to everyone — even the woman who just Googled "what is a fly rod." We mean it.
On the Water
Helping women feel capable stepping into fly fishing and outdoor spaces — without the intimidation that usually comes with them.
Content centered on peace, healing, and solitude — the part of being out there that has nothing to do with the fish.
The broader River Vixens world — mountain living, worn leather, old trucks, and the slow rhythm of time outdoors.
Encouragement to try something new and step into adventure on your own terms — steadily, confidently.
Beginner gear basics and simple river tips that meet you where you are, in plain language. No Latin fly names, no pop quiz, no knowing nod you're supposed to return.
Who She Is
She's curious about the water but maybe a little intimidated by the culture around it. She's drawn to wild, western places. She may be rebuilding or rediscovering herself after a difficult season. She values real experiences over competition, and she wants — quietly — to feel capable outdoors.
It's not about becoming someone else. It's about returning to yourself.
Take the First Step
River Vixens is just getting started. Leave your email and you'll be among the first to know when there's something to step into.
No noise, no hustle — we email about as often as the fish actually bite.
